Saxony-Anhalt‘s LOGISTICS.INITIATIVE is the marketing platform for the logistics sector in Saxony-Anhalt. Its function is to connect investors, manufacturers and shipping agents as well as logistics service providers and with the federal state‘s modern infrastructure it provides the necessary framework for efficient logistics.

In this way, LOGISTICS.INITIATIVE not only acts in the interests of logistics service providers but also in particular for users of logistic services. Alongside classic services such as transport, transhipment and warehousing, other services are included in this understanding such as contract logistics solutions, value-added services and control solutions for procurement and distribution networks. As well as the issue of finding the right service provider, the advantages of certain locations such as quality of location, workforce, opportunities for further training and research and innovation in the region are relevant for decisions concerning
investment.

Saxony Anhalt‘s LOGISTICS.INITIATIVE combines all of the necessary aspects, in order to be able to offer respective users orinvestors a specific logistics solution in Saxony-Anhalt. On request, new logistics solutions can be developed or alternatives can be evaluated and compared with the help of our partners in research and science. The close links to the Ministry of Science and Economic Affairs and the Ministry for Regional Development and Transport in the state of Saxony-Anhalt enable prompt handling of issues regarding adjustments in infrastructure.
